Accord vs Cefiro

considering buying a car...
which would u choose between accord and cefiro??
initially was thinking of the ES300 but the tax and instalments are killers... the 2 litre accord and cefiro is more affordable
any comments??

Well there is Accord and there is Accord (aka Acura). I, myself is looking at the PI Accord which is the Acura TLX in the US. I was hoping people who owned one of the pi models can jump in as I am a wee bit concerned with pi reputation to keep to their warranties.
I encountered one that says his company offers 5 years warranty. Even if true I am hesistant as this can only be a scam.
If you are considering the Kah Motors Accord 2.4 then I say go for the new Cefiro. If you are considering the PI Accord, then I suggest you consider the 2.4 version which is 200bhp! I hear that Motorway has a show room unit for 2.4. I am intending to check it out and if it is not too far off in price from 2.0, maybe it is worth considering.
My other choice at the moment is Renault Laguna estate. Old man car, I know but it is so well made. The leather seats is one of the best around.

i am considering the Cefiro 2.0 cos the 2.3 V6 is too ex... slightly over my budget
The overall for the cefiro is dat it has very gd handling and superb interior... i always wanted the walnut steering but only the 2.3 V6 has it... dam disappointed..
the technology is not bad either... cefiro is using the keyless entry.. for accord i'm not very sure.. haven't really check it out...

Shan_cai - you know of anyone driving the pi accord? can find out whether parts is a problem (I know the body parts are but standard parts?), warranty can be trusted, car as reliable as it seems?

if space is ur priority, y not the camry? remember i read somewhere that it comes out top in terms of space, among the executive sedans in its class...

gosh e Cefiro V6 is quite a delight to drive.
the roar at high revs is way beyond anything the puny 4 cylinder honda can give out. i like to hear proper engine notes, not engines being tua to death like in hondas. -
