How to convince my mom to say yes to the new subaru legacy

hey guys really need help..
i love the new subaru legacy gt 2.0...and my dad is lookin to trade in the volvo 960 my mom currently drives(i do as well sometimes)
we've been for a test drive and i absolutely love it and so does my dad(but he doesn't show it as much as i do) since this car is gonna essentially be driven by my mom, she has somewhat the final say
u know how mothers are, they don't like the noise the speed blahblahblah... and i've already accepted that i won't be touching that car anytime soon BUT i'm not going down without a fight..
see the situation is that i'll be leaving sg this aug to further my education and i won't be back for another 4 to 5 years so one consideration my dad takes is that it'll be more HER car then a car shared by us... the volvo is gonna be scrapped soon anyway so we are in the market for a car...
can anyone please help? -

lol... what a cute title for this thread. i dun really suppose u can do much to make her like the legacy, but u may want to avoid letting her deepen her prejudice agst this subaru by keeping her away from the quieter & tamer toyotas and nissans which will immediately snatch the heart of silence-lovers like ur mum

swap a vol for the legacy?
ewwww....
i'd rather get the new S60T5 or the S80T6. def much faster than the best legacy there is.
