Ford focus - easy maintenance?

  Does anybody know how's the reliability of this car? Is it as cheap and easy to maintain as normal jap cars?? Spare parts how ah??
  
  I understand certain models of ford are tie-ups with mazda so should be equally easy to maintain, but what about focus?

  actually fords are not tie up with mazdas.
  Mazda is owned by ford.
  so if a mazda is good, its because of ford's influence. anyway in my opinion, the focus is a good car.

  there was a period when mazda and ford each owned 20% in each other, dunno abt the situation now..
  
  focus is a good car in terms of performance, i'm juz wondering how it fares when comes to maintenance and cheapness of spare parts.. after all, my sunny probably is one of the cheapest 1500cc cars arnd to maintain...
