rebadge old mitsus as protons.Originally posted by bcyn:wad did proton do?
i agree.Originally posted by Rommel Fox:I sat in the optra...it was good. Two of my friends bought it immediately after the test drive. The optra is a good car. It is not manufactured by Daewoo unike the older models which were rebadged. The Optra uses parts from Chevrolet and GM parts. From experience, GM parts are very reliable and GM supply them to other car manufacturers as well i.e. Opel, Saab & others... The engine is also very responsive and silent. The interior is also very amercian...I like it very much and for the price, its worth it. Go down to the show room and see for yourself. cheers
i agree i agree i agree.... somehow i test drive my uncle's...its kinda fast too..heheheOriginally posted by HENG@:tofu is not exactly correct.
it maybe be a daewoo, but the chassis has been tweaked, and the handling is pretty good, even in the wet. overall build quality is also better, and better finished. the last reviews i read about it, were pretty positive. in fact, they issued the warning to the Toyota Vios and Honda City, saying that this car poses a serious challenge to them.
