Original or Fake Bodykits??

  Hi ....
  
  Does anyone here know how to check for original body kits? ie Kah Motors, BM...etc. Body kits incl side skirts, front & back spoilers... I heard from ppl that original body kits do not use screws... only tape... therefore they can be removed as and when the user requires without leaving a hole or a mark there. TRUE?? FALSE??
  
  Pls advise....

  what brand r u refering to?
  
  Some consumer car manufacturer for do not have body kits or spoilers. Mostly package together 3rd party supplier. No part of the design.
  
  Unless u r refering to machine like WRX,M3,M6,EVO,Ferrari or poshue which is part of the original designer's concept.

  Ok... Ermz.. Body Kit for Honda Civic by Kah Motors. Which would include the Front & Back spoilers, Fog lights, side skirts. Anyway to tell the difference between one by Kah Motors or any other shops at UBI or JB??

  with the exception of small parts that are not subjected to any aerodynamically induced stress during travelling, almost all parts in a bodykit would require you to use some screws or brackets to attach it to the main frame of the vehicle. the only difference would be the accuracy of the fittings. OEM kits tend to fit better. Fake or imitation kits would depend alot on the manufacturing process and may need modifications (drill extra holes, sand and cut) in order to fit properly.

  KAH MOTOR also uses suppliers parts.
  
  In order to earn more, cars are imported in bare min. Anything that comes with the car are taxed. So ppl like KAH MOTORs used to import w/o audio, spoiler, original rims/wheels & etc that can be do w/o & replace by local suppliers. Unlike continental car where most options are factory fitted.
  
  But not all suppliers of part are bad. Like K&N air filter, exhaust makers who specialise ppl. If you are weary about if the part r good enough for your car.
  
  1.You can take those good recommanded parts online. Know what you want. Do you homework first.

  2. Check LTA website if it is legel.
  
  3. Make sure the supplier are also comes with package for full installation & painting to ensure the finish is good.

  but if i get the bodykits where can I install them??
