Looks like nobody is interested in suzuki cars anymore.......At least Suzuki Ignis Super 1600 won the Rally of Finland in JWRC..........Never mind I'll try to go for a test drive and post my own comments...........

guess it's becos u asked for people who've test driven the car, n sad to say maybe there's almost none here. but i'm sure there're surely more of us, like me, who show interest in this car, despite it being a less reputable jap brand... came to take notice of it when it was awarded the performance car of 2003 in straits times, n further liked it when it took up 2 pages of wheels asia... 1.5cc packed in a small machine. i'd say it's a car meant for someone who is meant to be, n want to be different, spending abt 70k not on a honda city nor a toyota vios, but on a little hatchback(which's why it's been hard spotting them on the roads, mostly just the normal ignis). but also unique in the sense that u'll qualify to compete with the muscular sedans despite ur inferior size, since the 109 horses achieve impressive 8.9s. enkei wheels(if i'm not wrong) n recaro seats are also gd bargains...

U r rite about it not being common sight on singapore road. Its also a good thing it didn't recieve that much attention or else it'll be a common sight like toyota, nissan, honda....etc. Just like to be different from the rest of the vehicles on the road. For around $70K, ignis sports comes loaded with stuffs that u don't get with other makes in that price range. Well thats just my views. Its a fast little hatchback, but got to test it first b4 can really say it lives up to its name.

haven't tested it b4, but i think its a sweeeeeet little thing.

Its such a sweet little car thats why I'm quite attracted to it. Not that mean looking but pack quite a punch under the hood. Really hope to test drive it soon.

Yeah I'm drooling also with that thought. Too bad not much ppl share our views. I've read some threads that comment on how vios fare against the city or mazda 3 vs altis so on and so forth, In my views, ppl nowadays dont know what they really want, They juz follow suit. Ppl say this car is good they buy. Maybe a car in singapore is too ex so must think very carefully. To me a car brings out ones personalities. Thats why I'm so attracted to the ignis sports. Won a title in JWRC and the production car is not too far off the rally version and not too ex. I love evos but thats beyond my reach at the moment. I kinda envy u with a ralliart edition airtrek. One of my dream car too. Must be fantastic to drive a car like that rite. And best of all can beat those civics out there if they r not heavily mod and they really want to play......

now at west coast toyota service centre using the comp to kill time... went to the suzuki showroom just nearby hoping to view the ignis sport up-close... wasn't disappointed though the showroom was not open yet, cos saw a red one at the car park... went snapping away with cam phone... I LOVE IT
