Whats the charge for drunk driving? My friend had the unenviable thing happen to her....

So sorry for her...but she has at that time pose a risk to other's people life...

Thought they would look at the test results that shows how much the amount of alcohol she had thats above the legal limit?
So if its just slightly above she will still be sent for imprisonment? -

Better don't drink and drive.
I might sound hash but tell your friend to do herself a favour: It doesn't matter if it's her life. Others are also pulled in. -
1st timer no prison. 2nd timer then prison.
However, her license will be revoked. Not suspend, but revoked!
That mean she have to retake her license again after finishing her ban, which should be 1 yr. -

Actually she wasn't really drunk....it's just that she failed the breath test. She was sober when we left.

went clubbing with my fren last nite, he drove, steadily refused to drink anything alcohol. all he had was a fruit punch. now thats responsible. -
here are the charges.
The prescribed legal limit for blood alcohol content is 80 miligramms (mg) of alcohol per 100millilitres (ml) of blood while that for breath is 35 microgramms (mg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres (ml) of breath. Any person caught driving with blood or breath alcohol content wich exceeds the prescribed limit will be charged in court for drinking. The penalty for drink driving is a fine between 1000S$ and 5000S$ or imprisonment not exceeding 6 months. there is also a mandatory 1-year isqualification in respect of the offender's driving licene. A repeat offender will face mandatory jail sentence not exceeding 1 year. -
