1K servicing, what i need to know?

  I am sending my new car for 1K servicing. Anything advice on what should i do/know/aware of before i go there?
  
  Any recommendation on engine oil use? prize range? spark plug? filter? should i just change a normal one or listen to what the machanic advice?
