I've been using SPC 92 grade petrol for a couple of years. As a OCBC card holder, I get 10% discount.
So far no complaints. My car still gives the same mileage compared to other brands. Some people says the engine is noisier with SPC, but it is not noticeable to me.
In Singapore there is little chance of engine wear with our 10-year COE policy and advances in engine technology. Most of the time, breakdown is due to design faults and breakage. None are petrol related.
Supporting SPC is good because it will force the other brands to cut prices.
