Convertible to Hard Top conversion

Does Singapore allow converibles to be converted to hard top coupes?? Just asking for info cos I kinda like the Toyota MR-S, small, light, very balanced, MR drivetrain, just enuff HP to drive in Singapore expressways, but doesn't like convertibles(no offences to convertible lovers). Might buy it in the future. If cannot be converted/modded to hard top coupes, I won't be buying it.

can convert. just need to spend money. Pardon my ignorance but... wats "c/f" ?? Actually when 1 can afford and keep a MR-S, one can afford to do those conversions, the only problem is whether itz legal in Singapore or not. Was thinking of getting a GTR, can't release itz full potential in Singapore, so no point. c/f = carbon fibre. i do not think there's a legal question here if the size of the hood does not exceed that of the soft top when its up. wah, you thinkin of buying GTR?! muz be damn rich lor. anyways, i know a c/f hard top for the s2k from mugen already costs a whopping 3k plus.... enough to cover insurance, radio and road tax for one year so.... i dunno. maybe you ARE filthy rich.Originally posted by Boo777:Pardon my ignorance but... wats "c/f" ?? If I'm tat rich, I'll be buying a packet of cigarettes for every car I've smoked with my GTR(if I have 1).

P.S.: I wish I'm as rich as wat like tailslide said, but for now, I'll settle for a van... heh heh!! Give me 10 years and I'll get my GTR!! The 1 tatz scale 1:20 model. hee hee!!
