  was wondering the diff between gtt and gtr..
  remember seeing such a question asked before but cant find it..
  
  saw 1 this morning
  presumed to be a gtr r34
  but not sure abt the type BNR34 or er34

  GT-t and GT-r got diff. GT-t is the auto "tiptronic" transmission whereas the GT-r are the 6 Speed Manual transmission. Also the slight difference in power. Obvious GT-r is more. BNR34 and ER34 not much difference. I think its just the year of its release. Coz i read in the magazine somewhere that 1998 models are those of er34 and bnr34 started only on MAy 2001 so called the M-spec.
  (correct me if im wrong) Btw, most bnr34 are twin turbos.

  ER34 has only a single turbo (RB25DET) while the GT-R uses a twin-turbo (RB26DETT). The way to differentiate them is simply to look at the front. The space between the headlights is longer on the GT-T and dosent have the words GT-R unlike the R34.

  GT-T comes in manual too. BNR34 is the GT-R while the ER34 is in fact the GT-T. BNR34 was released in 1999 while ER34 was released in 2001. BNR34 is 4WD while ER34 is FR. So that's quite a number of differences. The M-Spec, released in 2001, had better suspension and thus better ride feel then the BNR34. It's interior is also more luxurious. All BNR34s in stock are twin turbo. ER34 is single turbo.

  ER34 obviously less speedy than the BNR34... the ER34 has less torque than its bigger brother, although they both have 280hp(official). the ER34 also has manual transmission, but only 5-speed, compared to the BNR34, which has 6-speed. the ER34 is also available in 2 or 4 door, while the BNR34 only has 2 door. btw, the silver skyline pics i posted in the 'so few skyline...' topic is an ER34 4 door sedan. so bad, never seen a gt-r on the road before(but got see gallardo ) is the M-spec really better than the V-spec? i think it sucks... look at the best motoring video with the M-spec in it, it can't even keep up with a rex
