Taxi experience

Hi are there anyone out who have any bad experience with taxi drivers? damn nearly got into an accident last night coz some taxi turn into my lane when coming out from a filter lane to turn into the petrol station on the left. that was a 2 lane filter lane and i was on the left of the filter lane and he was on the right.... why do they have to be so impatient...

Not that this excuses bad driving, but to cabbies, time really is money. I would've thought that they like to dawdle and take the longer routes (and they sometimes do) so that they can milk a few cents more out of you. But more passengers mean higher earnings. Plus, it is no mean feat driving the number of hours that they do - they're bound to be more impatient.

Taxi drivers are like that. In any case, avoid accident and not to bang them, otherwise, they will claim your insurance like siao... Their rental, pay, and all expenses all in....
If they bang you and nothing serious, they would volunter to pay you
It will be up to you to call for the price. Depend on how you like the face of the taxi driver, call for the high price if you don't like it

no la... i drive a mazda 323.... lucky i hit brakes in time... abo sure hit.... got once my cousin on filter lane going onto expressway... den when going out that time he checking his blind spot... den taxi in front suddenly jam brakes.... den he hti the cabby lor. the cabby extorted large sum of money from him sia... but coz my uncle is a policeman.. he say this sort of thing let him claim insurance... coz he's seen many cases where the cabby claim money, then the driver pay liao den the taxi just drive away... also never bother to go repair... coz sometimes is just bumper get hit only...
