I've test driven both:Originally posted by Shienhui:I am considering buying a Toyota Altis or Honda City. Both are from Thailand and around the same price, Honda City is probably cheaper by a few thousands.
Need some input on those who have driven a Honda City (latest model):
1) Ride comfort
2) Petrol consumption (i-DSI)
3) Spacious enough at back seat and boots?
4) Driving performance?
Thanks
There are 2 versions of city, idsi and vtec. Auto version has got cvt and steermatic. The idsi has got 88bhp while the vtec has 110bhp. Vtec comes with abs, srs airbag too.Originally posted by wuming78:anyway wat colours are there for city? and wat are the std things tt comes wif the package? and got manual hor?

Just to add on a bit.Originally posted by Shienhui:2) Petrol consumption (i-DSI)

Think Toyota Altis is better ... Honda city is smaller and low horsepowerOriginally posted by Shienhui:I am considering buying a Toyota Altis or Honda City. Both are from Thailand and around the same price, Honda City is probably cheaper by a few thousands.

Ic, what car u driving? Very ae zhao ar. I do go a bit faster at times but will normally ignore those ppl. Dont want to endanger other ppl's life and also not to risk my licence. Think of life without a licence... public transport, at night got problem traveling... dont regret when that day comes.Originally posted by HENG@:lidat always tio jio on e streets, then buay zhao, dun wan

Put kit only poser? 2004 Vios do come with kits as standard.Originally posted by HENG@:buay zhao, can zhao, put until lidat, only got one word to describe: poser.
or u can use 2 words: kek seh.
i'd rather have a nice comfy car with a good sound system. dun need all those neon lights n flashing speakers n what not.
a fast engine would of course be welcome too. love my engine. give me a decent 0-100 timing of 6 seconds flat
wahaha... and the point of a vios with kit is...? wish toyota woulc concentrate on making their cars instead of getting sidetracked all the time. remember a time when they made decent cars like the Celica GT which won the 1992 WRC. even their F1 efforts seem to have stalled some.Originally posted by No_regret:Put kit only poser? 2004 Vios do come with kits as standard.
oh u asking me? sorry but i had bigger things to concentrate on, like getting my racing licence. because i decided i would rather know how real proper, professional racing is like, and not all those on the road trysts that most people pass for "racing". and u know what? it rocks!Originally posted by Sombre:I see someone has his license oredi...
Haven't gone to school yet?
Whats taking so long?
Different ppl, different taste. Depends on the type of usage too.Originally posted by HENG@:argh the city is seriously mis-proportioned. between this and the jazz, i'll take the jazz please. city is hideous!
this is what budget styling turned out. nose is too low. look from the rear, looks like a van with a boot grafted on.Originally posted by No_regret:Different ppl, different taste. Depends on the type of usage too.
