Thinking of buying Honda City - Need input!

I am considering buying a Toyota Altis or Honda City. Both are from Thailand and around the same price, Honda City is probably cheaper by a few thousands.
Need some input on those who have driven a Honda City (latest model):
1) Ride comfort
2) Petrol consumption (i-DSI)
3) Spacious enough at back seat and boots?
4) Driving performance?

Forget the Altis. It looks like an out-of-production Corolla. No character, the rear lamps looks like a cheap Korean car. Inside looks big, except for the huge floor hump. Rear seats cannot be folded, unless you buy a 1.8 litre model. The interior is cleverly camouflage with real "plastic" wood panel, MP3 player and nice leather seats to boost its perceived value.
You should consider a Vios instead.
But as for the City,
1. Ride comfort is a little stiff, but sound proofing is quite acceptable.
2. Petrol consumption is definitely better than Altis, about 14 to 15 km/litre
3. Back seats very spacious. No floor hump. Seats back rest and pan are foldable
4. Accelerate better than the Altis, because it is lighter. -
im also considering city and seems that between vios and city, im leaning more and more towards the latter.
but city is now 64k, same as lancer! oh well...
anyway wat colours are there for city? and wat are the std things tt comes wif the package? and got manual hor? -
spent 20 hours on the road in a Clio 1.4 in malaysia. that car rocks! if i were u i'd get that. better yet. the clio sport 182.

There are 2 versions of city, idsi and vtec. Auto version has got cvt and steermatic. The idsi has got 88bhp while the vtec has 110bhp. But the price stated there is a bit higher, the price on the newspaper is more accurate. -

Ic, what car u driving? Very ae zhao ar. I do go a bit faster at times but will normally ignore those ppl. Dont want to endanger other ppl's life and also not to risk my licence. i'd rather have a nice comfy car with a good sound system. dun need all those neon lights n flashing speakers n what not.
a fast engine would of course be welcome too. love my engine. give me a decent 0-100 timing of 6 seconds flat -

diff tastes, yes... but lets face it. this car was meant to be a mass seller, and wasn't designed with looks high on the priority list. as a vehicle with 4 wheels and can move, yup it fits the bill, without hurting your wallet too much. so lets keep it that way and not try to rice it up shall we? -

it wasn't too bad looking normal. the riced up ones look like they will flip if u corner at anything faster than 40. too tall to be serious. GT wing to add more drag to an already underpowered car? geez whats the owner thinking of???
