Whee!

that was awesome. 4 days of intense wheel to wheel racing, 140km/h battles, damaged bodywork scraping all over the place, the chaos, the noise, the passion! what an experience!
Day 1: Wednesday
8pm: left singapore.
drove up to kota bahru overnight, 10 hours straight without sleep.
Day 2: Thursday
6am: reached kota bahru.
7am: reached the racing circuit.
8am: preparations all done, testing started.
10.30am: registration done
1pm: testing went fine
2pm: scrutineered.
3.30pm: water leak detected around the radiator piping area, troubleshooting begains
3.45pm: testing on track, spewing water all over the track
4pm: problem fixed, but engine running hot.
4.20pm: engine temp goes up to 110 degrees C after only 2 laps on track.
4.45pm: engine still running hot.
5.15pm: engine removed. replacement engine installed.
5.20pm: replacement engine refuses to start.
6.30pm problem still not solved. by now, short on sleep, tired and very cranky, me and my coach desperately tries to fix the problem, but fails to remedy it. Team boss calls from singapore and demands we work on the problem overnight, argument ensures. finally decided that the team should return to hotel for rest, food and a good shower.
