IÂ’m considering getting a new Honda Fit, but before that I need some advise and help from you guys here.
1. How much is the difference between Honda Fit and Honda Jazz? There is a difference of $888? Does that means that Honda Fit is slightly better? Or those importers are just earning some coffee money here?
Kah Motors advertised $73,000 for a brand new Honda Jazz, while parallel importer advertised at around $73,888 for a brand new Honda Fit.
2. How much roughly do you guys have to pay each month for your brand new Honda Fit / Jazz?
IÂ’m thinking about getting from those parallel importers, as I know Kah Motors do not sell Honda Fit.
3. Do you think it is advisable to get from these parallel importers? If yes, any recommendation on which one should I visit? Any names or numbers?
I have seen some of these importers advertised thru the papers selling at around $73,888. Another one have advertised an immediate drive off at $689 / month.
4. Do you think the $689 monthly installment and $0 down payment scheme is worth it?
Actually if itÂ’s possible, I would prefer to get a $0 down payment scheme. I donÂ’t mind paying slightly more each month, as my company is giving me $800 of car allowance per month. Car park allowance and petrol allowance is excluding from this $800.
5. How much is the road tax for this 1339 cc category for every 6 months?
6. How much is the usual insurance premium for a person at the age of 26 years old and only started driving for the past 3 years? It is by per annum basis?
7. How much is the maintenance per servicing? Is it as expensive as Mitsubishi cars, at around more than $300 per visit?
8. What is the average amount, each has to set aside for the petrol? Is it more than $250?
9. Lastly do you think it will be really tough to support one brand new ‘Honda Fit’ based on a monthly car allowance of $800? Taking into consideration for the monthly installments + half yearly road tax + HDB monthly car park fee + radio license fee etc. Or it should be sufficient?
I hope itÂ’s not too much of the things I asked. I just donÂ’t want to end of selling the car in less than 1 year because of any financial difficulty or burden. Appreciate if all of you can help advise me on these areas.
