Civic stalled when I stopped at traffic lights..why?

Recently my car will stall when I slow down at traffic lights. I will have to wait a while before I could start my car and drive off again. This will happen a few times until I finally reach home. The next day, however, the car will be good enough for me to drive to the workshop without stalling.
I wen to the workshop and they replaced a spark plug cos they figured there was some leakage of oil into the spark plug. They changed it and then just today I am back with the same problem after 2 weeks.
Will bring down to Kah Motors for a thorough check tomorrow cos my car is only 3.5 years old. Anyone else got similar problem with the current Civic model?
Very sian, if the problem cannot be detected, don't want to change car also cannot, cos I know nuts about cars, especially one that su ka su ka stall. -
go talk to the management, ask them to do thorough check b4 returning the car to u...

i donno about what the problem may be... but last time i was in the army, i operated some vehicles and such incidents happened, some cables in the vehicle burnt itself out overnight. i am not scaring you, should be related la, but to take precaution, you should get them to do a thorough check becoz it can endanger your life, as well as others... imagine stalling suddenly on the expressway...

Yes you should get them to do a through check. I also think they should replace all 4 plugs!!!
anyway if your warranty is over, go to your own mechanic. I definately think my mechanic is more skilled and knowledgable than people at TC. I drive a sunny
only think he dun wear tie and give me a computer printout receipt.

did you do anything dirty inside your car or not? lets be honest here...

could be the injectors at fault here. when they are unable to close properly, the leaking fuel causes your spark plugs to foul continously even though u keep changing to new ones. that should also explain y they dun seize during driving coz the engine keeps consuming the leaking petrol from the injectors as you are driving but not so when its idling (at the stop lights).
juz ask heng wat a fouled spark plug can do to ur car.

You could try asking them to check your timing belt...
I may not know is it the problem...
I am driving civic(eg model) also... and i had this problem b4 too
Like when i slow down when red light it will auto stall... then when I stop , off engine go and buy rice.. came back the car wun start.... Like PMS
then 1 fine day it break down with same syptom thjis time it wun start again... so need to tow -_-
Mech told me timing belt faulty and a whole list of stuffs need to repair...
Maybe its ur timing belt faulty ? i try to find the old list maybe can help you... -

Came back from Kah Motors and they blamed the stalling on the timing belt I have changed at other workshop.They said it has disturbed some sensor (T don't know what) at the back of the timing belt. They have changed the sensor and now it should be ok.
Just found out that they charged close to a thousand dollars for the replacement of timing belt. I wonder if it is that expensive outside? Am I able to get a competent mechanic to change it without disturbing the whatever sensor and causing the car to stall?
BTW, I am not a bro, I am a sis.
That probably explain why I don't know so many things about cars. -
my sunny is abt 4 years old. it uses a chain.
is honda still using belt? -
