Can know what is the difference btw a 2 channel amp and a 4 channel amp?
If i have abt $600,can i install a ICE which is reasonably good?
Or will it be cheaper if i do it in malaysia?

2 chn amp can bridge to 1 mono to power 1 woofer...4 chn amp can bridge to 2 mono to power 2 woofers lor.....
depends on wat u get.. some 2 channel amp is 2 ohm stable meaning u can load 2 woofer connected in paraller...4ohm + 4 ohm = 2 ohm...in paraller connections..
for $600...to get gd ice quite hard, not to damped ur sprits but almost immpossible.....mayb for $600....for woofer u need an 2 chn amp...tats about $100+ for woofer,$70 for te box,$100+ for the amp------for front,can get 2 chn or 4 chn...also $100+ den components at $100+...the installionations bout $80 - $150....tis type of set-up is for louder music..not gd ice...ok???al can use stuff..
if wan gd...a gd amp for woofer will cost u close to $1000..Class D Monoblock ...GOOD woofer cost round $200+ (for most brands lik Rockford,Diamond,cerwin-vega, Phynix Gold, Kicker solo-baric, etc onwards per piece....(when i mean gd, it's not those u see normally selling at audio shops..those R normal type of woofers only...)
Front Components, heard of Focal or CDT or Dynadio?....price start from few hunderd....amp for front can easily cost u mayb say $400 & up...head unit lea? cables? power capacitors? fuse spiltters? den tuning also must do mah...al = $$$
Ask urself if u wan to jus fix den get louder music den u enough le or wan to upgrade to those music tat wil make ppl wet jus by listening?eg:clarity,depth,imaging,positioning.etc...
if u will upgrade, also hv to consider for a gd headunit...but mayb for now, u hv $600 mayb get (normal front components + amp) ( normal 2chn amp + a 12" woofer) listen 1st lor...den slowely slowely save den throw in the money for I.C.E

of cos do in malaysia is cheaper....transfer rate is at sg
$100to rm$221.5...tat half te $$ lor...but the price over there also not say cheap till where...so depends...mayb u check out te price 1st, in sg & inmalaysia..den u conculate lor..cos if there r only bout little bit diff, do in singapore lor. cos if anything were to happen, u hv to bring al te way back into malaysia...sometimes, some money cannot save 1... -

2nd hand some audio shops got sell, u can go Sim Lim Tower Edison Electronic there see see lor...price quite ok...i also get some of my stuff there...look for Ah-Teck, a many tattoo guy...say u'r xiong's friend(tats me), he dun remember say te guy tat hv tattoo also & get from him cerwin-vega 12" red cone..he wil know ..thus u may get better price.Originally posted by blackarai:any idea where to get 2nd audio system or cheap n gd systems?
