What is: 1) PARF Status Expiry Date 2) PARF Rebate Amount
3) COE Expiry Date 4) Quota Premium (QP) 5) COE Rebate Amount?
Can someone help me to calculate how much would i have to pay each month if i intend to to use the car until the car's COE expires in 20/09/2011? Thanks.
As the COE Expiry Date for the car is 20/09/2011, can i renew the COE after that, for how long and how much i have to pay or its non-renewable and i have to de-register the car for export or scrap?
Me abit confused here....Seriously need some expert advice. -

If you r a new car owner I will advise you to take one that is left with 1-3 yrs.... It will serve as a stepping stone for you to change to another car after the COE expire..... This car is nice but opel parts in singapore are much more expensive....

What is the scrap value? Is it the COE Rebate Amount or PARF Rebate Amount? How much will i get back when i decide to scrap a car when the COE expires? -

but as car get older...the scrap value drops. with a 20 yr period as te $0 mark.
U can renew COE by 5 or 10 yrs after the 1st 10 yrs but if u renew 5 yrs....then u cannot renew anymore. If u renew it 10 yrs...then u can go on renewing it forever.
My car is 21 yrs old this year already...going for its 3rd run of COE. -

So if you scrap once COE expires u get your PARF back. You can renew the COE after 10 years -
so that means when the COE expires in 10 years and if u decide to scrap the car, u will only get back PARF Rebate Amount? how abt the COE? Can we decide to keep the COE cert so that we can buy a new car w/o having to bid for one? Also..what does PARF stands for?
Btw, we can use a car forever in spore as long as it passes the inspection right? So if the car's COE has been renewed for 2 times (10years each), the rest of the renewal can only be in periods of 10 years and so on? -
when COE expires then COE value is zero 0. Therefore u dun get any rebate from there.
the PARF value is not in dollars. It is a value that can be put into another new car.

True you can keep renewing and renewing but not much pple will do that..... the maintaince fees will be quite high as u car gets older..... it's not really worth it....
