Honda Civic offered the alarm system as part of the package. Just want to ask how many of you here have a car alarm system installed. Personally I hate the 'tuk tuk' sound whenever you press your key and I am very paranoid about lightning causing an electrical short circuit and causing it to 'whine' non stop through the night.
Can the alarm be switched off at will? Can I request not to have the 'tuk..tuk' sound?
Of course the plus side is that your car is protected against unauthorised entry and you have one more way of finding your car when you are lost in the car park!
