Accident Repairs

I had an accident with a Mitsubishi lancer glx i.
the damage which was visibile was slightly out of alignment on the rear left bumper. Does that warrant a repair cost of $1600??? -
u can send it to a car repair shop for an assessment first (with no charge)...
anyway, wat happened?
if more than your excess, then might as well claim your own insurance?

how is the condition of your car in the first pl??? and who is in the wrg?? and is ur car with any mechanic now?? Better dun claim insurance unless the damage is very bad.....

Jap saloon 1.6 cars bumper + spray not more than $600.

If things ever happen again.... touch wood.... tell him that you have friends who repair car..... then after assessing the amt of damage... tow to a normal repair shop..... ask for 'chiong' one ..... after you spray he will not know about it.... hahahha.... $5k either he send back to service center or he change other things as well.... and charge into your account.....
