you can check the pressure at the driver's door..... different car require different pressure.....Originally posted by CuriousBoy:I pumped 240 and 220 in my rear and front tyres respectively. Is it correct?
Some said that the front tyre pressure should be higher than the rear while others said otherwise. So which is which, anyone can advise? I realli confused...![]()
300??! is that the number you took off the tyre??Originally posted by zheshi:the pressure on my tires is label at 300...if i will to pump air ....do i pump 300 or lesser?
It is okie..... I dun think it is 300 even big cars also no need so much lor..... you just look at the label at ur driver 's side door.... it is ard 215 to 240 at most..... Unless you are pulling something behind.....Originally posted by zheshi:my tyres' air pressure states 300. So am I advised to pump till 300 as stated or slightly below 300? I currently pump them to about 215. Anyone can shed some light on this? thanks alot!
I now pump abt 260 on tyres, though the label stated 220! 260 would saves fuel and have less friction on the road. But the bad points is a bit more humply and a bit more dangerously on rainly weather. It is up to you!Originally posted by Praetorian111:It is okie..... Can pump is can..... the steering of the wheel also better.... especially for cars without power steering..... But no point cos it will endanger the performance of the car as stated by you.... I mean always trust ur manufacturer's advise.....Originally posted by Lancer947:I now pump abt 260 on tyres, though the label stated 220! 260 would saves fuel and have less friction on the road. will it also be dangerous driving lond distance which causes tyres to get too hot and burst when the air inside expands further?Originally posted by Lancer947:I now pump abt 260 on tyres, though the label stated 220! 260 would saves fuel and have less friction on the road. Not to worry, I have tried to travel 2 times to Ipoh non-stop. Full loaded, 4 adults, 3 childrens. It looks good.Originally posted by y720:will it also be dangerous driving lond distance which causes tyres to get too hot and burst when the air inside expands further?
