I am 17 yrs old. Am gonna take my driving license nxt year, asap.
Can you guys roughly tell me how much does it cost to have a driving license. the cheapest is how much? the most ex is how much?
i wanna save up money..

i pass on 1st try, private learning, everything bout $900...$12 for basic & final, den te rest on praticle & circuit lor...i got friend get liscent 1st time but close to $2000 from BBDC...

For private cheaper...but can be vv dragful to wait for your TP test...for school more expensive...for me around $1700 when i took my first TP test lor.
If you fail you just hafta wait for another one month for your tp if you're from school.. -
depend on situation.... if you are really gd u complete by 18 lessons... if not sigh.... it goes on and on.... have ard $2000 cash just in case..... shld be enuff....

Think I spent like US$20 in total to get my driving license in the states(think driving daytona and lotsa golf carts helped!) and spent another $20? for the basic theory test here in sg to get it converted... =P muahahaha...

in total of $1800 in 3 months. private cheaper but longer to pass... school faster to pass but more expensive. i passed on my first try with BBDC.

seriously, daytona actually helps, develops minute and precise neuromotor skills. -

anyway i think if u hv the $, sch wld be better.. but i suggest u complete all ur theory as pte b4 sign up the sch 4 practical.. save time..
the rate 4 100min in sch is ard $60.. dat unpeak hr.. as 4 pte, i think it ard 40? -
last time before i joined bbdc i tried private... but the instructor always brought me to tuas and drive around. Then he juz hold on to my wheel all the way...
So i went to join the sch.. i learnt more from there. Like using engine brakes, judging the width of the car etc. Once i got no time to put money into my bbdc account so i called up my private instructor so a lesson. During the lesson when i applied engine brake before coming to a stop at a traffic light, he slapped my hand and ask me what im doing... i was like wtf!
Den from that say onwards i took all my lessons back in bbdc. But it took me 3 times to pass
...
My opinion is that private can be very cheap.. but its better to pass ur advance theory first and find one who takes u on the actual test routes during lessons. If not, very difficult to pass.

Mi spent ard S$1,000 plus.. Private one.. Cheaper than school. Another thing is tat u can arrange for the private instructor to pick u up anywhere for lesson. Veli convenient.

i think now BBDC classs 3 driving lesson cost $67+ per lesson if i'm not wrong. prievate cost much cheaper at $ 35 - 38 per lesson 100 min.

when i was a student there, it cost about S$50+ per lesson.

Whole package for S$300. Including driving lessons, test, and "extra". I passed at 1st try.
In Malaysia.
