Demerits points for P plate

hi guys ... just need some advice
my bf who is a P plate driver, he only got his lic abt 1 month ago
he was summon for dangerous driving .. but tp did not caught him on the spot .....
he found out tat dangerous driving is 12 demerit points but he is P plate ... he hear tat for P plate .. the point will be double which is 24? issit correct?
can he just dun admit to it ?
really neeed ur help ... thks
really worry for him....
hope to get some real info on this ..... -
he must have witness to prove that he was not driving dangerously at that time if he does not want to admit it.
by the way, drivers on probation has only got 13 points. -

isn't it vise-versa too tat the police has to prove tat he is driving dangerously??? 1st u gonna tell ur bf dangerous driving is no fun. hes gonna get himself hurt if worst hurt others.
2nd hes a new driver n tats worst. wat if he gets into an accident next time? or worse killed other ppl in an accdent. -

he know probation cannot deduct more than 12 points in 12 months but what he want to know is it true that during the first 12 months the demerit points can be double of the actual 12 points or is it only 12 points .... -

Go to the hearing and see wat is the summon about and wat are the evidences against him lor...then decide wat to do... or then decide to engage a lawyer... check out the penalty with the TP on the day of the summon lor...
In the first place, he did drive dangerously i supposed... well, just see wat the TP says at the day of the hearing... it is probably a time for the TP to issue him the summon in person, and would hav time for your bf to take the necessary action if he decides to appeal against the charges one lah...
Or call up the Investigating Officer and ask wat is the actual situation like first lor

So wat r the charges for? only driving in a dangerous manner?? Is he in anyway speeding? If yes, what was his average speed like....
The fine will be extremely heavy if it is a court case.... Ur Bf will need to ask the I.O abt the whole issue... and the likely charges for dangerous driving..... then decide on what to do.... Appealing sometimes will only make the whole situation worsen.... and double the charges....
and pls advise him not to do such a thing anymore.... he is still not at all qualified to drive or speed like a pro...

Dun think there is such thing as P plate double demerit points. If the summon does not involve a court appearance, just a form sent to you asking if u admit/not admit and if u admit fill up the form and they deduct the points etc.. In this case, he can ask maybe his dad who has 24 points to deduct to fill in the form, claiming he was driving at the time..
Not totally legal this method, jus an 'idea' thats widely used.. get into trouble not my biz -

its the judge decision whether to disqualify him from driving or notÂ….. furthermore he only got his licence 1 month ago and can perform such dangerous acts on the road.....
fine can be up to 1k for 1st time offender.
Be prepare to queue up and wait for his turn in courtÂ…Â… -
u can always write letter and tell TP that there was smth wrong with your car, like fault steering wheel or whatever, just cock up a story and they'll believe it. that's what i do for all my car park summons. haha. and they always revoke the summon in the end.

question is ..... how can they prove that he was driving that car? someone could be driving it? family members do have the right to drive your car ...
