BTW do u know that steven also went down to ubi to check how is the sale over there but our sa whom so lucky go n serve him did a very bad sales attitude towards him.
Yokohama tyres is true but as what you said not much chioce for the rim. For me I am think of changing to white rim for my Pica. Don't know is there white rim for 14".
Ya I heard Steven told about it. But nvm as long as we make sure he provide us a good service is good enough. As for Steven and his friend both booked the Black manual Pica will most likely get their cars in beginning of Aug. -
Have tested the Kenwood audio system, Sound ok. Changing to a better pairs of speakers can sound even better. 1. Higher fuel consumption
2. Slower acceleration
3. Slightly heavier feel on your steering wheel. -

With the kind of hopes and expectations we have for the Picanto and being so-called the "pioneer' batch of owners, we probably should arrange for an informal meetup maybe somewhere in October 2004 weekend afternoon, when most of us should have collected our cars, juz to show our new ride and exchange pointers. Anyone game?? Any suggestions for venue??

The Pica I am driving now has no rear speaker. My Sa was upset about it because the test drive car has it. He says tat C&C always like to do things like that as in no proper communication. Basic car don't expect much

My SA told me it come with the rear speakers. Is your car one of those come for showroom purpose ? -
Yah your got the points. I guess I have to weigh between beauty and fuel comsumption. Perhaps stick to 13" tyre and buy a set of white hud caps. East Coast Park car park or Kallang McDonald's is always very packed during weekends.
Option 1
Demsey Road Car Park (The former CMPB), across the road from Gleneagles Hospital is excellent.
That place is very relaxing and quiet, away from the all the noise & pollution. It brings you back to Singapore in the 70s.
Option 2
Labrador Pk Car Park
Not too crowded & relaxing place, facing the sea.

Hi For all infor the 14" 175or165(can not confirm ah) rims + yokohama tyres is priced at $600 if u change from the present 13" wheel and the central lock car alarm system all 5 door is at $380. i jus call up to check with my sa.
i had also call up cool and lite they have 3 packages the low end 1 will cost $480 it filter 60% of uv and heatness, normal 1 will cost $680 and it filter abt 80% of uv and heatness,the high end 1 is $980 which is $30 more expansive than v-cool but filter 90% of the uv and heatness.The sale personnel of cool and lite had also told me that the normal 1 which is good enough already n highly recommanded me to buy... -
Wah Kinki really go all the wall out to sort for aceessories. Btw your car will come with Rike cool right ? Don't tell me you want to tell our SA that you don't want the Rike cool and want to install it by your own. If like tat I also opt out my $3000 of luxury package. Then I can do my own leather seat, reverse sensor and central lock with alarm on my own. Hi see fu, actually i really 12 do that but our sa told me that he had submit my booking form already that y i cant change my package thaere for he told me that i can trade my petrol vouc to him and he will come out $80 for me which i thing he earn the $80 rether than paying for me,as for the tyres is cheap cos i did a survey if i get a wss rim plus a yokohama tyres the lease is abt $600+ - so i felt the price is still reasonable.
As for car alarm i felt is expansive,but he told me that due to this car need to install a rod in it and then can activate the 5 door car alarm system and as what he told u he also say the same to me he say they need to drill holes at the rear in order to make the 5door alarm sys, so workmanship is more expansive as for other car model $250 can make it, but for this car it is $380 for 5door and 4 door is $300 ($80 for installation of the rod).
tyres i might change from them but stil considering the central lock..
can anyone give some sugesstion to me
