  I did not go down to sign up, but merely to take a look at what it's all about. I ended up signing as I believe I will not have the kind of time to do all these maintenance work. Plus... the protection it gives to the paintwork is really comforting in weather like this in SIngapore.
  
  Mini-sized: are you planning to get your door knots, side bumpers and mirror bracket sprayed? There is a shop next to Ultrashield that quoted a lady picanto driver a price already, if you are interested too... please do it together so to get a good price

  I did but was turned down. But i managed to squeeze in reverse sensor. Also got alarm/central lock, ipod and voucher $288 to less the car price and full tank upon dely.

  Yup, that was me!! Did you manage to see a black volvo? Patrick was busy with it when I arrived abt 11 am plus....was impressed with it...very shiny.
  Am glad that their timing can suit the owner's pref coz i raised my concern as a OPC driver coz they close on sunday...alex say they can do it on sunday as well....i mean, that's good service. Though they are just a few months old co, I have faith in them.
  
  Regarding the color spraying...the man next door quoted $300-$400 ++....which is a bit exp

  I am pretty much set for this. If anyone can recommend a quality paintwork shop, let's go there together. If not, I will stick to this shop next to Ultrashield so, after the spray, just push next door for Ultrashield

  That guy juz gave me an estimate only coz he said our car surface is of rough area, thus they need to do a base coat b4 the spray.
  If the cost can be under $400, i may consider.

  they are the sole-distributor of that polishing pdt, can't reme what name liao...they are having joint-relationship with coolnlite whereby those signed up wif ultrashield can 10% off any coolnlite pkgs, coolnlite customers can 15% for ultrashield pkg........
  
  now hv to source out for solar film....those who are star prestige member entitles 20% off any coolnlite pkgs...but only till 30 sept, hopefully my car arrives by then........

  I intend to get a Picanto and as a weekend/off peak hour car
  
  Need your advice, I am 1.8m tall guy with medium large build. Haha, dunno whether can squeeze into the Picanto or not.

  they are having roadshow at century sq at tampines again... 12 to 18 july. the picanto is there, blue color one this time.

  Yes you will be fine in the Picanto, though you will have to slide your driver's seat back... passenage behind you will not be as comfortable and that's all

  Color = black
  gear = manual
  freebies: reverse sensor and alarm. More like IPOD trade in for these.... after reading all the messages......

  I just read about rustproofing on the web a moment ago... so decided to remove my negative comments on the method. Ya, I will consider... but that is not on top of my list for now

  Wow..now the waitlist for blue diamond pica is in oct......
  i like black too but too much a hassle for maintaining the shine....me lazy

  Ya..that the problem of getting a black one. I have to discipline myself to wash it one a week.
  
  My SA told me that avail colours for the current shipment is green......lady like colour, surely not for me.
  
  Come to think about it i don't have to worry about the black coloured side mirror and side beams.....
