Anyone else in this forum receives call from your SA that his or her cars arriving this 2 days and with Sale Agreement stated second shipment ? -

Maybe urs is the leftover of the first shipment.
My SA tell me that if I choose diamond blue colour, I can get car immediately. Thats leftover from 1st shipment, bcos the first shipment got lots of diamond blue. Check whether got 4 speaker. If only 2 speaker, that means 1st shipment. Tell us whether got the rear board to put tissue box one leh when u collect ur baby. -

It should state the DELIVERY DATE.
If the 2nd shipment arrives after Christmas, there's nothing much that you can do about it. -

Just call my SA and she told me that I have got my COE and my car MOST PROBABALY will be in this coming shipment, but she does not want to commit the date.
As for the 2K drop, there is nothing much they can do as the COE offset is 20k.
There will be no ipod for the coming Picanto buyer. Not sure how true ???
Will keep you guys posted once I got the update.

When I did the test drive at Leng Kee, the SA said whatever I saw in the displayed vehicle is what I will get. So I assume the board on top of the luggage compartment is also included.
Hope the SA was sincere enough to tell me the truth and delivery date is really end Aug. -

Call me a FCCF (fuel consumption conscious freak) if you have to.
I am for one that is constantly looking for fuel effective driving techniques; without addition cost. I believe with right driving techniques, fuel will be greatly reduced to travel the same distance.
When I was driving my year 1992 Suzuki 1.3l in Australia, I was able to constantly do 18km/litre; mostly rural driving though.
So I am confident that if the Picanto review (Europe) dare to claim it has a 54.3mpg for rural driving, I should be able to at least go close to 18km/litre for my type of driving in Singapore.
Since 54.3mpg is 87.38km per 3.78litres
means 23.11km per 1 litre
factor of warmer air in Singapore, minus 3km per litre
factor of low gear on highway, minus 3km per litre
So, 18km/litre on the Picanto is very much possible!
Most cars in Singapore has a 35+mpg rating.
Picanto is the way to go!!!

Generally the same cc vehicle, auto should consume more than manual. But if versus a heavy footed drag racer drving a manual and a relax driver driving auto, guess maybe the manual consume more than auto. It depends a lot on how u drive.
Each person has different driving style. I belong to those relax and light footed type, so my fuel consumption regardless of riding bikes last time or driving different model of cars is always a lot lower than people riding or driving the same model as me.
This is tested and proven, my friend have the same car as me, I can go to 13km/liter, but his is 11km/liter, In the end, we swap car for one week, and guess what I still attain 13km/liter on his car and he still attain 11km/liter on my car. Our car is totally the same, no modification at all. So its a fair test. Of course u cannot compare 2 different cars or a moded car with non-moded car.
Auto is slower than manual is bcos auto version is heavier and manual one u have the option to drag gear and down gear when not enuf power. Auto one, u can only wait. -

KIA Picanto Manual $49,999
Upfront amount = 5% = $2500
Loan amount = $49,999 - $2500 = $ 47,499
For 10 years loan interest = $47,499 x 2.45% x 10 years = $11,637
Monthly installment = ($47,499+$11,637)/10years /12mth = $493
Monthly about $493, excluding pertrol, insurance, road tax etc -
as long as u can pay 30% downpayment at one shot, dont need income proof also can loan. 30% is abt 15k ba. Overall, not worth to get 8,9 or 10 years loan. The interest is higher. If u intend to sell with few years, you have to top up money just to sell the car. Best is minimum 10-30% downpayment and 7 years loan. Anytime sell also wouldnt lose money one.
