Hi Bowling xiao,Originally posted by Bowling xiao:I've just called my SA to remind him about the 26/7 shipment that he promised me previously. He said that the shipment was delayed and would probably arrive only in mid Aug (my booking was for the 2nd shipment). That means registration will be 1st week of Sep and will fall within the 7th Month. He tried to make agree to a later delivery date by using 7th month as threat (at least I felt that way). I insisted on an early delivery and told him that I was not superstitious.
Can someone pls guide me as to what right do I have if the delivery date is again postponed?
U booked from leng kee or ubi?Originally posted by kingfisher:Hi Bowling xiao,
Did your SA tell you yours is first or second shipment ?
Today just received a new from my friend who also booked a Pica that his SA just called to tell him the shipment will be here 2 days time and he will be getting his car soon. Note: His Sale agreement stated his is from second shipment.
Anyone else in this forum receives call from your SA that his or her cars arriving this 2 days and with Sale Agreement stated second shipment ?
No use if the contract states first or second shipment.Originally posted by kingfisher:Hi Bowling xiao,

Lots of blue diamond in the 1st shipment?? Hmm...maybe i shd call my SA n check...earlier on, this color shd comes after Aug........Originally posted by picachu:U booked from leng kee or ubi?
When u booked?
Maybe urs is the leftover of the first shipment.
My SA tell me that if I choose diamond blue colour, I can get car immediately. Thats leftover from 1st shipment, bcos the first shipment got lots of diamond blue. Check whether got 4 speaker. If only 2 speaker, that means 1st shipment. Tell us whether got the rear board to put tissue box one leh when u collect ur baby.
Who say dun have Ipod for the new people who book at 49,999?Originally posted by tlchiam:Hi guys:
Just call my SA and she told me that I have got my COE and my car MOST PROBABALY will be in this coming shipment, but she does not want to commit the date.
As for the 2K drop, there is nothing much they can do as the COE offset is 20k.
There will be no ipod for the coming Picanto buyer. Not sure how true ???
Will keep you guys posted once I got the update.
Cheers and adios![]()
Same like u, my booking was on 23 May and it belongs to 2nd shipment in mid-aug. If nothing happens, we should get our car by end Aug or early septOriginally posted by Bowling xiao:Hello Kingfisher / Picachu
I booked on 22 May and belong to 2nd shipment.
When I did the test drive at Leng Kee, the SA said whatever I saw in the displayed vehicle is what I will get. So I assume the board on top of the luggage compartment is also included.
Hope the SA was sincere enough to tell me the truth and delivery date is really end Aug.
So much talk about booking and such... anyone has already owned the car and taken a drive round the island? Hows the car's performance? Heard that Auto performance is not as good as the manual.. anyone?Originally posted by Vinsanne:Call me a FCCF (fuel consumption conscious freak) if you have to.
I am for one that is constantly looking for fuel effective driving techniques; without addition cost. I believe with right driving techniques, fuel will be greatly reduced to travel the same distance.
When I was driving my year 1992 Suzuki 1.3l in Australia, I was able to constantly do 18km/litre; mostly rural driving though.
So I am confident that if the Picanto review (Europe) dare to claim it has a 54.3mpg for rural driving, I should be able to at least go close to 18km/litre for my type of driving in Singapore.
Since 54.3mpg is 87.38km per 3.78litres
means 23.11km per 1 litre
factor of warmer air in Singapore, minus 3km per litre
factor of low gear on highway, minus 3km per litre
So, 18km/litre on the Picanto is very much possible!
Most cars in Singapore has a 35+mpg rating.
Picanto is the way to go!!!

I think you can work out the figure yourself. I dunno whether you can get full loan amount or you need to pay at least an percentage upfront. My upfront amount is less than 10%. Here is an example.Originally posted by champion666:can anyone tell me is it possible to get a 10 yrs full loan to buy this car?
if yes what is the amount that i have to pay every month?
thanks in advance.
as long as u can pay 30% downpayment at one shot, dont need income proof also can loan. 30% is abt 15k ba. Bcos they dont scare u run away, even if the first instalment after u got ur car never pay, they can tow back and sell away, still got lots of money left.Originally posted by champion666:can anyone tell me is it possible to get a 10 yrs full loan to buy this car?
