Pica is a very basic and simple car. No ABS, no Airbags for both driver and pax, no EBD, nothing at all. But cheap, powerful in its class, quiet cabin, cute and mostly important of all those of us who booked it like it.As buying a car no matter how good is the car, how safe is the car, how comfort is the car, if you do not like it and do not suit your pocket also no point.

anyway Natasha oso no ABS, no airbags.... but I do provide some vomit bags if someone needs....
Just drive carefully and you won't need them lor... rite?? -
by the way... just learnt from my ah lao that his Vios oso no temp gauge... he told me it's ok.... if it's too hot, there will be smoke....

yah I agree with kingfisher cos i personally felt that even a person buy the best car but dun know how to control also no use. U can c now a days a lot of accidents involve r branded car like BMW n Merc but when they crash what happen to their veh. split into 2 can not use any more so car no safety features not so importants, drivers can drive safely and be considerate more important.
There is 1 guy in the car forum still ask people to race at the 99 turn at north bona vista, he heaven know how to walk he 12 learn how to fly already,life is precious so save it not waste it.But he is lucky he know his mistake n apolgise....

Aiya don't need to wait for smoke come out, always check your radiator water, engine oil, tyre pressure and wear at regular basis all this overheat, engine failure and tyre puncture trouble will be minimize. Do remember do not ram a 1L car if you don't take good care of it, my experience with my first car, little Fiat Uno, nice to drive. One day on my way to work, ram until sudden lost of power. hey Kinkichong just want to ask you did the SA Alex call you regarding your COE bidding? I did not receive any call or message from him. I think is down in the river this time for my COE. Another thing I did not ask him about the COE price when I booked the car, how about you did you ask him or does he tell you ?

he told me that the coe offset is 18k anything fall below 18k he will pay us back but anything goes above we dun need to pay but my coe is 3mth 6 bid non garantee so as wat he say if the 6th time i still can't get he die die must give me already.he did give me a call saying that my dbs loan is not approve so he tried for me citibank and he give me another call to tell me my loan is approve already that all.But to wat i know from my friend who is work as an admin there told me this round no 1 got the coe..

so my coe is garantee only my rebate is not garantee...

COE bidding: aiyah...... the COE rebates.... no need to think of that.....u should calculate wat is the margin of the dealer and see how much (max) can they bid for you! then everytime....
Also, call lta to check wat is the bid the dealer is bidding for you...... -

Thanks for posting my car pics here. I met Carina over the weekend at the showroom. So happening that we are viewing the Cerato. We might get one as my dad wans to change his Premacy to save cost because I got my Pica now. -

Are you sure that the 3 months 6 bids is guarantee COE? I tot after the 6 bids if still cannot get the COE, they would most likely ask you to top up. -

My coe rebate is $20,000, also 3 mths 6 bids. the SA did not tell me what will happen after 6 unsuccessful bids. Before I booked Picanto, I nearly booked the Hyundai Getz. The SA there said that if still cannot get after several tries, the company will offer a package to secure COE. I think she must have meant that I need to top up some $$.
This time coe price was so high.. $28,798 leh.. I looked the price, I already knew no hope this time. Hope better luck next time lah... 23 Jun...
Results can be checked online 1 hr after bid closed.. just key in your NRIC.. -
try to check before the bid ends to check the actual bid put in by your dealer..... then u can see the gap between your bid and the final COE price.....
ask for top-up....better dont fall in the trap unless u are desperate for car.... guess u can wait til sept when they announce adjustment to the COE quota based on the actual number of cars scrapped.... think more COE will be released..... last round they talek alot....else this 2 quarter should have much more COE available.....

Agreed wif Ghee that the status can be checked once SA placed the COE before the dealine of 4pm. I have checked mine and the amount that they put was $28,700 at time 2.15pm. Actual, they could have revise the bid but think not worthwhile since still have another 5 bids to go.
My SA told me that since my car is not ready, so no hurry to get the COE. Well, my personal thoughts are if till the final bid whic is around Sept and still can't get the COE, then how? Top-up and it would be very close to the current sale price ($54,999 for auto) in the market already. -
yah the sa did told me that i do not need to top up anything if until the 6 bidbing they have to find ways already lor nvm i check with the admit again n i will post an add soon

Ya, the scoff plates and visor will be in together. Anyway the people bringing in is JC5 at Jln Sultan, opposite Textile Center(check www.swog.com.sg) They agreed that I can use my Pica for sample car to show C&C and later sell the kit to me at a cheaper price. BTW, there is no board at the back, I create one myself using foam board (temporary). My sales will order for me. I had it is about $20+.
