i'm really very angry for the wait of my picanto. no news from SA, not even update of the shipment. SHIT, we are paying the money and yet they like not interested.
Anyone got updated news on picanto shipment? The SA say what we see is what we get! But SHIT, why no this and no that? eg. we see 4 speaker and now only 2

What you should do immediately is to write to the Director of C&C and firmly demand a letter in black and white, stating the date of delivery, failing which C&C will have to refund you the deposit in full, and allow you to use the COE that they have bidded for you to purchase another make (other than KIA).
The COE is bidded in your name, hence that piece of paper is uselese to them anyway.
All the excuses about the strikes in the Korean factory and delay in shipping are all internal issues that C&C will have to sort out with their Korean counterparts. It's none of the car buyers' business.
It looks like C&C KIA is following in the footsteps of the previous KIA distributor, Auto Asia. -

Read in today's papers that there is gonna be another KIA roadshow at IMM this weekend. Picanto (M) going for $48,999, and RIO (M) for $50,999. I think that's 1K off the previous prices.

Perhaps should write in to ST Forums to expedite the delivery. Hmm... too think a c & c manager for kia sales was actually featured in this month's issue of Wheels for being so successful in improving kia's image and sales....

Currently, Swenden has totally run out of stocks for Picanto. As for Cerato, it was done after the strike, so the stock is so called more than PICA. Now even in M'sia, stocks is running low too. As for some, it may be so happen that there is stock and also the colour of their choice when booking was done, thus was able to receive their car very soon, no matter what brand and model. So we must understand that it is not C&C doesn't want to give you the car, but it is they don't have the car to give you. Also, Relaxman, where u book? I would suggest that you demand a B&W from the office on the delivery date for the car and if not, they have to rent a car for you. Remember what 'Dodong' did for his CERATO. Or did they promise you earlier, but now they cannot delivered to you? If that is so, try to nbang table like some of them did and also at the same time, send a mwil to C&C customer service letting them know about it. Try to be firece in the mail like treatening to withdraw....That provides you book from C&C.But even you book from Fulco, feedback to C&C on their service too,like empty promises..... -
Remember to check the interior of the car, those snap on parts and most important the engine. We met the guy in M'sia who is the President(nick 'ManB') of Kia club last few weeks. He says that the Gen2 is not selling well as it is over priced in M'sia too. Also there are cases where customers collected the car and noticed the paint work chip off at the power window switch. For Kia, COE bidding is 6 attempts. If bidding after the 6th attempt is unsuccessful, they might ask you to top-up cash to secure a COE. If you refuse, they have to refund your deposit.
