Kia Picanto... who else bought one?

I went down to settle the doc this morning.
Will get my car next week and also sign up for the rust coating for 380.
The car will come with 2 speakers only , black mirror and stripe. No card board or nothing. Trading in my ipod to exchange the reverse sensor and alarm. The side miror come with tilt knobe in the car.
Mine is a coblat blue and the stock will start to flock in as Singapore will secure the stocks from Korea, those buyer from Malaysia will have a loger wait.

Pay C&C $14K to buy back your COE?
Your COE is NOT transferrable in the 1st place. This piece of paper is useless to C&C. It can only be ued to register a car in your name. Under the penal code, C&C has no right to demand this sum from you. All they can demand from you is to forfeit your deposit. Full Stop. That's it! -

This is normal for 1l cars. I have already advsied you to get the Proton Wira 1.3.
Trust me. For the same money as what you pay for the Picanto, you will be impressed. -

If the girls sitting behind are petite, then it should be OK, but definitely not for 3 full sized adult males behind -
Don't worry about what others say... if you have test driven the car, and if you think it suits you... go for it. I sometimes push my seat all the way back when I am wearing my shoes with people behind... and people behind is still fine. Of course FULL BIG SIZED adults are always a problem... The car is good sized for it's price.
As for a Proton WIRA. It's a very old engine (yes, proven)... but it's technology are old... noisy.

Are you getting the car too? You will be very surprise what this little car can do for you. Very smooth and comfortable. Consumption, like I have been posting... very efficient car (probably because it's a very light car). And how come your mirror black? I tot is only the side stripe is black?
The rear also have speaker rite? Or only have the speaker cover, no speaker inside.
If I am not wrong, my SA say first batch got black mirror, black door handle and 2 speaker. Newer batch got coloured mirror, door handle and 4 speaker.
U shouldnt give up ur IPOD. Wasted. Maybe ur SA collected many IPOD already...haha.

When signing the doc, the SA hinted me that the bottom part of the car will rust if u don do anything... U know that kind of feeling, u won feel good because you won't want this to happen to your car... So...pay lor and get 10 years peace of mind.
Factory fitted only got 2 speakers, seems like either your SA bull shit you or i kena bull shit. Never mind, i learn a good lesson, what u see in the bruchure is not what you get.
If i don give up my ipod, i need to do the alarm myself outside. I don need the ipod anyway...

One thing I am damn pissed off is the technical competency of the SA, ask this don know ask that don know. I think they seems to act blur and hope that u will not ask them.
From consumer point of view, though I have not collected my car, I feel bad about the service from C&C because they don gain my trust anymore and I don feel secure to buy from them.
I tell myself no more car from C&C if I am going to upgrade in the future.
Good learning experience for my 1st car.

When I test drove the Picanto, and highlighted to the SA that there's no temperature gauge in the Picanto, he replied "Ah? Really meh?"
He then proceed to defend himself that the PIcanto is a new model, and he had not got himself familiarised with the Picanto.
But my thouhgt is "If you want to sell a product, no matter how new you are, you got to learn about the product. Tak ethe initiative to learn it yourself if the company does not train you" -

One consolation is, u get ur car pretty fast leh...is ur plate SFL or SFM? -
I am 1.8m tall. Test drive the picanto and realise that tall people really have to get use to their kness beside the driving wheel. I sat in the Rio also and realise, even if i pull the seat all the way back, my knees is still beside the sterring wheel. To unfold the back seat for bigger luggage space, gotta pull the fonts seats all the way to the front. That one i haven't try the comfortabilty, but i think shouldn't be a problem.
