I didn't ask about the car plate also...
May need to spend some money to beautify my Picanto as seen in the Taiwan version. This is the expectation I would want to achieve, to become a proud Picanto owner.
If i remember correctly, Vios also does not come with the temp gauge. May be it is a new feature.
I know that I am buying a cheap car but the SA should be very frank to me on what I will get, at least i know up front and set a right expectation. The approach they use is to confuse you(the bruchure), and you sign it and tell it this want don have that one not included.... blah blah blah.........

To unfold the back seat for bigger luggage space, gotta pull the fonts seats all the way to the front. That one i haven't try the comfortabilty, but i think shouldn't be a problem.
If you push the front seats all the way back, the rear seats cannot fold flat down, which defeats the purpose. -

Thanks for your tips - I feel better maybe can try driving around again, need to buy the P plate cos I always blur blur slow slow and all the drivers are quite angry with me, then I get nervous and stress, then drive even slower and more confused. So stress driving my colleagues to lunch the other day, I considered selling my 2 weeks old Picanto.....but dunno about bank loan.
Anyone knows what the rule of 78 means?
Does it mean that I have to pay the bank all the interest if I redeem loan?
I didn't get bank loan contract when I buy my Picanto, so abit confused right now. Just know they deduct 524 from my account, I think I borrowed 50,499 from bank for 10 years.....jialat.
But on the whole, Picanto is a good budget buy, though with Rio price so close, I wonder why people choose Picanto over Rio? Hmm....Picanto looks cuter but Rio has bigger cabin space, 1.3 litre, boot and all.... -
the more you should drive to gain confidence and to improve your skill. Just put on the "P" sign and keep on the left lane unless over taking and making right turn. Ignore those people that "beep beep", they have nothing better to do and they can simply over take you.

But let's face reality : There is no such thing as a perfect car.
I have even criticised my own car make in other forums. For example, I made negative remarks about the warped window frame rubber seal and faulty power window motor in my new Toyota, and Borneo Motor's refusal to replace these faulty parts even though my car is under warranty and I end my car to them for servicing - unacceptable for a make which commands a premium, and almost all Toyota owners face this problem. -
Just did UltraShield on my Picanto. Took Patrick a good 4 1/2 hours of pure work. UltraShield's Patrick = Professional. Of all the things I have done to our Picanto, this one is most satisfying. The surface of my car is so smooth that any flies will have problem landing on it. UltraShield suppose to smoothen your car surface (with weekly rinsing if it does not rain) for up to 6 months. By the way, there are five maintenance enhancing polish every three months. Warranty is 18 months. After the first paint shield (which I just did) plus the five maintenance, the protection should stay on the car for up to seven years.
By the way, service is top of the class. Friendly and informative is what you can expect from UltraShield. The paint protection/shine is not all... he made sure my car was tip top shine before I drove off. Interior cleaning; leather, PVC, carpet, boot, bonet, seat, dash board, windows, windscreen and even tyres and mud flap were thoroughly cleaned.
Our Picanto was never this clean until I did UltraShield. With the protection my car paint work has now... I feel great... I think of UltraShield as high quality sunblock.

Call the customer service and complain if ur SA ask this duno ask tat also duno. Its their duty to find out and answer. I dont believe the whole C&C duno. If they duno, then they dont deserve to earn our commision.
