Kia Picanto... who else bought one?

Check with C&C, what it is about regarding the cost. Sometimes they can compromise a bit from the ad. Maybe you want to check with my sales, Mr Willie @90052289. I bought my during the preview at Compass Point. My is a Liquid Silver OPC Pica. Driving it for abt 3 weeks liao, and I like it very much because I waited it for 7 months since launch in Europe last year.

Got any 'lobang' getting the visor? 2nd hand one where huh? Maybe I will check with Hyundai if Getz rear spoiler will fit. Anyway, Pica is sharing the same engine with the 1.1cc Getz in korea (H logo under the boot and many HMC under there). The chassis is the same but shorter a bit. -
Sorry I need to highlight something. Those who book Pica with alarm, remember to check all the inside of the 4 doors near the power window and manuel window winder. I had scratches on the rear left piece. C&C will change it for me.

Could you please advise the minimum RON (octane) requirement for the Picanto? You can refer to your owners' manual. The sales person at C&C had no idea on this. -

According to my SA the queue has go as late as Oct to collect the car. Is it true the delivery depend on color ? From one of my friend who booked a black Pica from Leng Kee said, his SA told him those who booked the Manual version will get first. But no matter what at the end of it can get the car enough. Mine is Cobalt Blue according to your info when is the delivery ? -

No lah, I am talking about my present car visor.Now where got lobang for second hand visor for Pica. Have talk to Kinkichong today, he too trying to find out whether Getz spoiler can fit on Pica. -
Hey j19021974, did your car install central locking ? According to my SA, for boot area they need to drill hole in order to install central locking for boot lip. Did they do it on your Pica? The spoiler cost about $140 @ JC5. The address is in the www.swig.com.sg. But the visor is abit ex, abt $120. For those who have not join KIA CLUB SINGAPORE, please do so. Not to loss out to Getz or Matrix club.

Price is at S$56,999 include 1st year insurance with installment susidise up to a total of S$5000(subject 3mth bidding).Downpayment of S$2900 can be used on DBS or Citibank credit card, spread into 24mth interest free, which mthly at S$130. Mthly instalment for the car will be at S$562( 10yrs). Loan will be taken from Maybank at a 2.45% interest(per annum). Here's an example:
Car Price S$56 999
Downpayment S$2 900 (Divided by 24mths for credit card installment = S$130)
Loan amount S$54 099
Monthly S$ 562
MayBank will required the customer to pay a min of S$150 every month.
Therefore if your insurance is S$1500 we will take S$5000-S$1500=S$3500
So these S$3500 will be used to offset for your monthly installment.
If you pay S$150 the rest of the S$412 will be susidise by C&C
Therefore if your insurance is at S$1500, the 1st 8mth of your installment will be at S$150 then from the 9th mth onwards will resume back to your usual monthly installment at S$562.
On top of the susidise monthly installment S$150,you will need to pay for the S$130 for the downpayment installment and thats make up to the amount of S$280per month -

Spoiler at $140 is it inclusive of installation and spray paint ?
Wah! rear visor only cause as much as spoiler ? I think I rather install spoiler. Will join Kia Club Singapore when get the car. -

Have clearified with the friend that said those who booked Manual will get the car first. He too was told color does come into the picture for delivery of Pica. He tell me to look into the brochure on the 2 rows of different colors of Pica, His SA said those booked with the colors show on first rows will get first( as this july shipment, cars are with these colors). So I think those who booked a Manual, with the colors on first row will get first. congratulation. -
Hi all i have read the articles in this forum page www.autotrade.com.my. Most of them say that they had some lobang that they got the news 400 units of picanto had arrive in malaysia but is stuck in the port to pass custom check.So i think ours is coming soon also lor.Hopefully !!!

Hope they QC the cars properly and not just 'fast'.. sometimes, can't really trust 'mass production' stuffs..

The price of $56999 was marked up by $5k to cover 1 yr insurance and 6 months instalment.
I was offered the same package when test drive at Leng Kee on 23/5 but I rejected. I opted for the normal package to pay 10% downpayment.
