eh bros....wat is the no. of demerit pnts u can accumulate b4 u r suspended?? (max u can exceed).....today taking final theory test lar den heard ppl say 12 den 13 den 18...very blur...so cor on u all for help....tanx ar.....!!!

for p-plate drivers, 13points.
for non-p drivers, if i'm not wrong, it shld be 24. -
p-platers: u get only 12 pts within your probabtion yr to deduct (13 pts n u are a goner)
otherwise u get 24pts spread over 2 yrs -

how and when the TP tell us we collected 24 points liao hah??? sekali happily driving on road but already maxed out points, must go sit jail one leh right?

CHECK SUMMONS STATUS ONLINE
FROM next Monday, the 1.2 million people here who hold a driving licence will be able to go on the Net to check the status of outstanding summonses against them as well as any demerit points they have.
Anyone applying for a photocard licence can check the status of his application, while foreign drivers can find out if they have committed any traffic offences here.
About 300,000 summonses are issued to Singaporean and foreign-registered vehicles every year, said a police spokesman. About 5,000 issued last year have yet to be settled.
The public can access the Electronic Driver Data Information and Enquiry System at www.ecitizen. gov.sg or www.spf.gov.sg
