Actually, to be frank, Toyota Altis had been on the Malaysian road as long as Toyota Corolla.....in short, the technology had been about 4-5 years leow...couples of years ago when i visited Malaysian relative, i was wondering how come the Toyota corolla was different from local...the relatives there told me there were factories in malaysia producing corolla altis parts......

furthermore the malaysians give very good reviews abt it on the net. of cos it oso helps that thailand & taiwan have it for some years too.
