Hi,i am offering my services to all who wants to improve thier engine's breathing. i modify factory airbox to channel cool air from outside as well as setup heat shield for open pod filters. Factory setup takes in air from engine bay, which is hot, abt 70C to 80C. Hot air is less dense, hence poorer effeciency in the combustion department. I will channel cool air from outside, which is denser, and hence better combustion. The setup has been tested heavy downpour and the airbox is still dry. I am keeping the factory setup on the intake path and volume, hence keeping your very useful low torque. I also customise heat shield and 6 points grounding. viewed the pictures. would doing that weaken the engine bay structural integrity? i noticed for some u ran the pipe out thru a hole punched into the wall of the engine bay.

These are original holes that exist in the car, i do not punch holes on chasis nor i drill holes on bumper. But i do cut fog light hole that came from factory. Evo takes air from under bonnet, unless u are running on open pod filter, then u may need heatshield and airduct -

R u subaru friendly as in if I send my subaru to ur shop to do up the air intake will it void my warranty?? So how much must i pay to re route the whole thing to downwards?

You sounded like you are driving a bugeye scoby. Warranty is a tricky affair, you got to realise that whatever aftermarket product you put onto your car can void your warranty, spark plugs, filter, what ever cos when u drive your car to the agent due to some fault and you wanna claim warranty, they might point finger at the aftermarket product. So, the best thing for you to consider is to put back all factory parts if you are considering claiming warranty. It will cost you $75 to route the pipe for your car.

Er... some time back someone did mention this. Well, it is not impossible but to run to the airdonduct duct that is inside your cabin, you are going to be running a pretty long length, this long runnings has a higher risistance, so you will loose your wind velocity by the time it gets into the filter. So, quite pointless. Also, to run into the cabin, you will be using some pretty small pipe diameter(less than 1") kinda pipe to get through your firewall. this also creates a higher resistance.
