I would like to emphasize to you our main highlight in this
Carnival, it is the Monster Truck Show. First ever in Singapore and
the programme will also include Stunt Show and Defensive Driving & Riding Performance by 3 Driving Centres. More great news for all of you!
Normal charges for Monster Truck Show is usually $50 to $60 SDG in other
countries, as this is the first time to have this show in Singapore,
the entrance fees will be heavily subsidise by us and we are charging
only FIVE DOLLARS ONLY($5/-), YES!! FIVE DOLLARS ONLY. The whole performance will take 2 1/2hrs.

Bubble Fantasia
A bubbly good time in the bubble courtyard of Bubble Fantasia with
giant bubble workshop conducted by professionals.
Sandcastle Playland
A fun filled sandcastle workshop that will occupy children endlessly.
Participate in the Road safety sand building competition to win
attractive prizes.
Monster Truck & Stunt Show
As the name implies, the Monster Truck is one of the awesome machines
mankind has ever made. It stands more than 10 feet tall and develops
more than 1,500 horsepower. It's supercharged, oversized, and
extraordinary.
The show is full of none stop spectacular actions with awesome Monster
Truck with its monstrous motor producing thousands of horsepower. It
drives right over nearly every obstacle in its path and splits nearly every
eardrum in its vicinity.
Stuntmen performing superb freestyle jumps with their motor bike
flying extremely high in the air long enough to leave the bike free then
grab it again to land smoothly.
Euro Bungee
The Euro Bungee is one of the most exiting attractions. It fascinates
adults and children alike; it allows everyone (from 20 to 90 kg), even
those with no experience, unlimited jumps up to 10 meters high (33
feet), with no risk, which is not possible with an ordinary trampoline. Even
people with certain physical disabilities are able to use it.
Car Display
Sponsors showcase some of their finest merchandise and that is their
latest model of cars.
Defensive Driving & Riding
Demonstration with live commentary by experienced instructors from 3
driving centres will be demonstrating on the following:
1. Emergency Braking
a) 3 different types of braking
The purpose of practising the emergency braking is to stop the
motorcycle in the shortest possible distance without losing control of the
machine, by applying the front and rear brakes effectively. The techniques are to apply the brakes hard without locking the wheels, which may cause skidding.
When applying the brakes, the rider should look straight, grip the fuel
tank tightly with the knees and both hands holding the handlebar firmly.
As the motorcycle is about to stop, pull in the clutch lever to prevent the
engine from stalling.
2. Pylon Shalom
By practising riding through shalom course, its develops your sense of
balance at slow speed and at a higher speed when taking corners. It
also helps the rider to understand and to acquire the correct banking
skills to ride round a bend safely.
3. Off-set pylons - "Slow In, Fast Out"
To understand the relationship between man and machine when going
round a bend. The technique to go round a bend is call "slow in, fast
out" technique. With this riding technique, he has to reduce speed, use the
correct gearshift and thus reducing the effect of centrifugal force
acting on the bike, which caused it to drift outwards. Half way through the
bend, the rider may accelerate as to set the bike upright hence with
achieving the “Fast Out” effect. This is the best technique to handle
corners and bends in a safe manner.
Charity Corner
Foot Reflexology is the holistic approach to wholeness through the
feet. With the use of energy and manipulation of the foot reflexes, the
client assisted by the therapist, goes into a state of relaxation, allowing
the Spirit, Mind and Body to heal.
Handicap masseurs from charitable organisation will offer foot
reflexology for a charitable cause.
Static Exhibition
Showcase Singapore Police Force finest vehicles and equipment in
combating crime.
Transportation
SBS shuttle service will be provided from Toa Payoh Interchange to
Police Academy and back during the 2 days event.
