I wouldn't mind getting an Evo 8... or right now, Rx-8 Type S... but if you get into an accident, and you probably will, being a new driver and all... you're heart will break man... see your new car kena damaged... I'd rather just get a 2nd hand car first... until I'm better at driving...

in real life, my first car was handed over to me by my sis, a 9 yr old audi a4. Then drove a 9 yr old e320, handed over by my dad. Now driving a 1.5 fit, really miss continental cars, but now can appreciate owning a new car, no breakdowns, no problems.
i would have loved to own an sir or mivec for my first car, but dad didnt allow it. He knows what old sir n mivec cars are famous for... whacking n crashing..

If I remember correctly... Japan stopped production of the R34 already... so all those Skylines that you find in Sg, are 2nd hand... but they can cost as much as a new Merc C class... can anyone confirm the price?
Anyway, I wouldn't recommend new drivers start by driving sports cars... you might not really know how to control it... esp if you're not used to the power... -

dude, u got it wrong. Not all benz, bmw or ferrari cars are reserved for pricks! I have a friend driving a bmw cabriolet, but doesnt drive it to camp cos a lot of people gives him that "stare". I don't give 2 hoots about how much money you have.... but I resent the "big car = King of the road" culture here and I've had the last straw. I must agree that those biggy cars are 'King of the roads' but not all of those drivers are pricks .... i experience a Jag X-type hogging 2 lanes on a packed ECP and the right lane ahead is clear
