2004 HONDA CITY vTEC Problem

  Hi guys,
  
  can anyone tell me whether is this a fault or have this by nature. If i release my accerlarator while travelling ard 90kmh, i can hear "whizzing" sound, even with my radio turned ON.
  
  I consulted the HONDA technician on this, and they told me because CITY is using CVT, thats why have this sound.
  
  Dont sound logical to me. My friend have a CITY dont have this prob.
  
  anyone got this prob?

  Should not have the whizzing sound that you have described. CVT does not have such a characteristic.
  
  Can you elaborate more about this 'whizzing' sound? Is yours a vtec, manual or auto?

  mine is a AUTO. it sounds like aeroplane landing to be exact. Tell you this genunine joke... aft i got the car and while driving back.. each time i heard the whizzing sound.. at first i thought surrounding have aeroplane landing...some more is ard hougang area... hahaha...what a joke right??...
  
  i actually i am in a dilemma on what shd i do with the sound... tell Honda no use...seems like...

  sell the car...before its too late.
  If Kah dun noe how to solve.. i think u're better off with a toyota or nissan...

  Have you try switching off the stero to see if the whizzing sound still persists? Sometimes it is due to the wiring problem when they install the stero player.

  i have tried that...i can hear the sound even clearer... maybe tonight i will try off the air-con....see what will happen
