TP approve 'tint windows' - Straits Time (250604)

  Hi everyone,
  
  New to the local motoring rules / regulations, I will like to check out what do u understand by 'tint windows'....
  
  How would i know whether the 'darkness' of the window is TP / LTA approved?
  
  Also another point about exhaust pipes, is that any way of checkin if the noise produced is also within TP limits?

  hi..if u go to most reputable shops to tint your windows...they have the knowledge and experience to tell u what is approved and which is not.
  
  As for the exhaust...some brands are approved and others are not. same...the exhaust shop will tell u. but ultimately...the noise level will be check by the inspection centre..so if they say u fail, u either argue it out with them, or just change to a quieter exhaust.

  hi ricardo,323 here.If u want good exhaust,do give fongkim a try as they provide good services and aftermarket services.They sell Remus exhaust.If u would like to try supersprint,then try jeepchee.As for qualitywise,remus is still a better brand to the ears to all motorists,hehehe.For the window films,u can try v-kool or rike-kool.V-kool=Toh guan rd & rikecool=telok kurau rd.
