From Strait Times webby:-
IT'S the football season, and with many soccer fans celebrating the Euro 2004, the police want to remind people not to drink and drive.
More than 100 motorists were arrested for drink driving in the two weeks that ended last Friday, police said in a statement yesterday.
Traffic Police nabbed 109 for drink driving during spot checks and patrols.
Police spokesman Teo Poh Ling said that this was not an unusually high number, but added that with the current Euro 2004 revelry, many are drinking late into the night.
The police also said that drivers may be charged with drink driving if they cannot control their cars, even if the alcohol content in a driver's blood or breath does not exceed the legal limit.
'Enjoy yourself and make merry,' said the police.
'But if you drink, do get a friend to drive you home, or take a cab.'
First-time offenders can be fined up to $5,000 or jailed up to six months if convicted.
They will also be disqualified from driving for at least a year.

My experience from a Drink Driving driver:-
A week ago, was coming back from work after OverTime, riding along PIE towards Jurong. Saw this car, cannot keep in lane, keep drifting to the extreme right and left (it was going in the centre lane). Nearly, knock into a few cars.
At first, I thought it was some driver drop his pen or wat. But when I overtook him, he was drink driving! wtf!? I can see he is trying to keep in lane but his judgement and control is saying otherwise.
F**k, I speed up and overtook him.
@#$$#%^ hate this kind of driver, endangering lives of others
