Quiet tyres

any comments on the Asepc dB tyre .. thot of changing mine 2 it ... but heard not very durable, but is quiet ... any other recmdn for quiet tyres ?

like Sh*T ... used for 1 week it burn out ... cannot make it

hmmmm im using a 185/R14 .... aspec db...
i can say its very quiet compared to my frens es100.... he kept complaining... cos tried mine and his at 140 km.... freakng big difference....
if u ard looking at comfort oni.... i recom u go for pontenza GR80.... which is better in terms of grip.. for comfort tires and better wet handleing... and similar silence...
if u wanna go hard corners and sprints burnouts... forget abt comfort range... which u will be complaining..
performance tires are quite noisy unless u knoe which to go for....
its a trade give and take. -

I got slightly different comments...
I have seen some Aspec DB last over 50K of mileage...
not a big problem...
It all depends on your driving style...
A500 is a "COMFORT" tire...
It will remain quiet and comfortable for first 20-30k
But drive safely in the wet...
It serves well in day to day driving... but dun expect miracles...
Use it for ah peh style driving daily, it last, gives you comfort, and peace... but drive agressively? Use proper performance tires... -
what about Yokohama Advan 195/60 R15 tyres? Are those tyres good...quiet??

Advan got a few range...
195/60/R15 is the tyre size...
which one are you talking abt?
Currently i am using the Advan Neova AD07
Dry grip damn good... but wet grip seems not as good as my previous S-03... And by all standards... they are NO WAY near quiet... -
Can try Yokohama AVS sports, gd for dry n wet,but comfort level quite low

i am using aspec db....ok leh...remember i just returned from North South Highway trip at 130km/hr? near 'zero' noise man.....with all the others sleeping soundly in the car......HIGHLY recommended!!!
