Brother Brother, u dont know that TP have this trend of waiving off the first offence that the driver made??Originally posted by 2004Lancer:i also kena demerit points and slapped with a fine for speeding (captured by speed camera) BUT i fight until the summon and demerit points waived...and also said sorry to me....hahaha
AYE at tiger beer there ar?Originally posted by Kaohsiungans:For those who need to know before you speed, here's the run down on the standard of fines here in Singapore.
40km/h below set speed limit - Summon ranging S$100 to S$500
40km/h above set speed limit - YOU GO TO COURT 21!!!
Double the set speed limit - YOU GO TO COURT 21 and Guarantee 4 to 6 months Suspension plus fines of S$900 to S$1500.
I was doing 127 over set limit of 80. My fine was S$800 payable on the spot! Standard was about S$900 for most of the 80 of so people that was haul up today at court 21.
So before you speed, check your wallet if you have enough to pay up and get haul up to court 21.
then if you still kena caught with speeding even though car in front n behind u also speeding same speed constant then say what? speeding cause dun wanna obstruct flow of smooth traffic?Originally posted by 2004Lancer:pengyou eh....fight ma!!! why didn't u fight?! it is an offence to hold on to your IC you know? Policeman can only hold on to your passport for fear you escape Singapore....never never let policeman hold on to your IC...i was a regular policeman before....
remember the rule of the thumb:-
------x8--------cut & paste on dashboard---------
Rule No. 1 - If there is no car infront speeding, then don't speed
Rule No. 2 - If you have to speed, see Rule No. 1
