which figure not realistic? SAY!!!!! hahahaaOriginally posted by supercharger:Just to check how you guys are measuring the consumption becos some of the numbers seems to be far higher then even what the factory says their cars can do and we know that the factory numbers are usually not all that accurate .... inflated numbers...
Did you use the Fuel Consumption computer numbers or the actual fuel pump divided by actual km travelled? The onboard computer is never accurate.
What you should do to get a good reading is when pumping petrol, always put the nozzel into the tank in the same position (ie as deep as it will go everytime) and pump until it auto trip and stop pumping. this will give you a fixed level to work with. dont try to round up to the nearest $. Take the amount of litres pump and zero the trip counter then divide the km with the fuel the next time you pump the same way. Try to use the same pump at the same station if you can. That way the room for error is reduced. If you still get similarly large numbers... report here and we will, at least I will look seriously into getting that car in the future!
I find many of the numbers here quite realistic but others not. This is from experience owing and driving car ranging from large capacity cars 3.5l down to smaller 1.6 both european and jap and I feel that some of the numbers are not realistic.
