go there, do that there, and try not to die while at it...

Wonders of Centrifugal Force. Your car is moving too fast to turn left so the force is "pushing" it out to the right or vice visa. Understeering is the word for it.Originally posted by daniel_84:i have a question on high speed cornering... i'm driving a honda civic vti(auto) was traveling at PIE @ speed of 120+, and was about to filter lane to eunos exit, i didnt step the brake hard enough to slow the car down, and was turning at around 100+...
how come my car will lost control as it steer toward to right when i turn my steerwheel to the left..
have you been to m'sia carak highway or Genting hidhland??Me...
more things to see........
HENG is right. FF car dun drift. It's becoz of understeer that make it skip like drifting. Only FR & 4WD can make a perfect drift.Originally posted by s15_spec_R:Hmm... I don't know why you would say that is a mistake :/
Perhaps he was trying to do the drift on purpose instead of trying to race? It looked like an awesome drift to me heh... the kinds you would see in Initial D. Shrug :/
i would say its a mistake because in a real race, the last thing any racing driver wants is to drift and waste enegry which would be more useful applied in the direction it was meant to go, and the last thing they want to do is to wear the tyres out and give themselves difficulty later on in the race. young boy, if u believe initial D is called racing, u need to grow up. what u think is called "racing" is far from the truth.Originally posted by s15_spec_R:Hmm... actually, FF can drift. Its very simple to drift an FF car. all u have to do, is............. lift off. or give the handbrake a short sharp pull. drifting only makes sense when u are doing a rally on a loose surface, eg, gravel or snow. or occasionally for the sharpest of hairpins, and even then, u do not drift with your tail out, but just apply the minimal slip angle needed. all out, sideways, tail out drifting, is SLOW.Originally posted by blue_picanto:HENG is right. All cars can drift.. FF, FR, MR, 4WD, whatever... HENG just gave a brief explaination of a braking drift... but there are other ways too.Originally posted by blue_picanto:HENG is right. which sheds much light on the signature that you once had of the great Alain Prost, "I am slow when i look fast" or something along that line.Originally posted by HENG@:i would say its a mistake because in a real race, the last thing any racing driver wants is to drift and waste enegry which would be more useful applied in the direction it was meant to go, and the last thing they want to do is to wear the tyres out and give themselves difficulty later on in the race. young boy, if u believe initial D is called racing, u need to grow up. what u think is called "racing" is far from the truth.
Drifting is for showboating. Any racing driver can drift, but not every drifter knows how to race.
Hi, I experienced a small drift a few days ago.Originally posted by AE86tofu:nope....4WD is very hard 2 drift.....sigh....
