  Got tot of bein one? They damn cool leh!
  
  Wow... Weave thru all the traffic... Kinda of king of the road... Every body got to give way to them once the siren is on... Very hiong de they all... All speeders! Wow... Envy them leh! Their skills esp... coz they know they have a life to save...
  
  Btw... Ambulance auto or manual ah???

  police car chiong also very song but i now cannot do anythingy but desk work. i hate desk jobs. like kana taken down by a paper cut.

  lol.... ambulance don't speed all the time...... u imagine u in the amulance den he start speeding.... u havent reach the hospital u car sick already. lmao.

  Ambulance/command post driver here. Civil Defence.. Actually, not allowed to anyhow speed, cos there's a black box in there to monitor yr speed and everything. Then officers recommend not to speed also, cos if kena accident, have to answer for it, write statement and pay damages. Plus need an EV licence(emergency vehicle). got diff classes. ev3(ambulance), ev4(fire trucks), ev5(fire trucks with cranes).
  
  Recently there was an excercise at east coast park, bedok jetty.. Then the civil defence, TP, police and Army drive there in one row.. damn stylo, everyone look.. haha..
  well, thats for civil defence, not sure bout private ambulances. In the end, i admire the job, but the responsibility is damn high.. 1 more year to ord!

  *Ahem* Just something to ask... what if the driver don't want to give way to the ambulance? If flash lights and siren, he also don't move... then what to do? Nudge his bumber? Copy down license plate and report?

  Well, im army ambulance driver and their vehicle sucks...... Speed limit 50 somemore,if really activate they vehicle can go 100 the most nia.When i running in lane 1 all the all just booooom by me darm peiseh as a ambulance driver for army 1 haha,if someone going to die i dun we can reach hospital in time lol

  I hate idiots who do not give way to ERVs with sirens blaring. One day, when they are the one being ferried by the ERV, they will realise that every second counts.
  
  BTW, some ambulances travel with only the warning lights on, not the sirens. A friend says it is for non-critical cases. However, I've seen ambulances blaring their sirens when approaching traffic lights to warn others. This contradicts my friend's statement because: if it is a non-critical case, why do the ambulance chiong red lights?
  
  I hate it when an ambulance comes from behind quietly with only its blinkers on. I know we are supposed to check our rearview mirrow every few seconds, but sometimes we fail to notice the ambulance coming - especially in day time. I try to give way, but sometimes traffic can be heavy and it will endanger me and other road users.
  
  In this case, will I be charged for not giving way? Hell, I mean it will make it easier for others (notwithstanding those idiots mentioned in the first sentence) to give way if we could hear the sirens from far.
