Just felt driving in Australia / New Zealand are different from Singapore. The traction is better and less water are "kick" up at the tyres. But, tyres wear faster and even driving a 4 litre ford sedan could feel the road noise.
Therefore, I hope drivers could stop the tailgating manner, fearing other vehicles cutting into their lanes, because it simply does not allow time to react. On the other hand, only cut into others lane when the speed and space allows. Unfortunately, I find many on the road are schooled but not educated.
What is your comment ?
Ai ya, say is easy... But doin is diff lor...
Actually i do notice tat, in singapore, if rainin heavily... MOst cars would slow down, n not really tailgate lor...
But then, sometimes coz visibility is decreased... N accidents could happen lor...
It takes only one car in front to suddenly jam brake then many cars behind also will get affected lor... Coz kinda of unanticipated, car jammin brake suddenly in an expressway...
Mayb only when a lesson is learnt, then people will be scared n don tailgate any more lor...
Or those wif close shave, then they really will go check blindspot... All tis is human nature... so wat to do...
