Single Yellow Line

  hi all,
  
  can check whats the parking rule for single yellow line?
  
  think this type of line was not invented yet when i took my highway code..

  When did u take your highway code? The single yellow line is in existence since 70s. Anyway its free parking along such lines 7 pm to 7 am.

  It means tat no parkin on tat side of road from 7am to 7pm, except sunday n public holi...

  i was born is the 70s... took highway code in the 90s.. heh....

  i want to know what the rule of the Zip-zag Single and double yellow line?
  Any Diff?
  i not sure abt this 2.

  double yellow line can stop to pk-up or dropoff someone...
  can stop for awhile.... as long as not obstructing traffic ...
  TP come u can signal and go off...
  
  but zig zag line is no stopping at all...
  unless u suay.. vehicle break dwn ..still can argue wif the TP...
  
  both are no parking... if no drivers ard... at all times.
