F**KING CAB WANTS Y LIFE!

Took a cab home last night after work. already close to midnight. den i flag this bad. ah pek drive one. i flag he like never see me. last min den jam brakes, lock wheels. skidded abit coz road wet. den i board it. was at republic poly. at first i tot he purposely take long route to send me back. nvm. i can live with that. den i found out that he keeps stretching, to keep himself awake! knn. his seat positioning is the seat is far in front, den the back rest is tilted back. he sits in a position much like resting on a couch. i see the rear view mirror his eyes liek wanna close liao. den the bugger taxi like wanna crumble lidat. 30kmph also at gear 5. he thinks his gear 5 can work like an auto transmission.
entered PIE. entered @ 30-40kmph. freaking slow. nvm. drifted to middle lane. nvm. den he starts to "float" inbetween the left and right lane. driving @ 70kmph only. the way he change lane lagi best! jit tao change lane liao den check wing mirror. wtf?!?! i told him off. "Eh lao zek, ai hua qia mai koon la". he dunno mumble what sh*t. lucky i made it back in one piece.
a $10 hell ride.
i mean not that i have anything against old drivers working the graveyard shift. but don't endanger lives of people while doing so. yes i know they must earn a living too, but at what cost? i was lucky i came back in one piece. but what about other passengers? other motorists? other pedestrians?
i noted down his license plate number. going to lodge a complain to comfort.
a sleepy, tired, fatigued driver is just as bad a a drunk one. -
my colleages last time took 1 cab also similar to this uncle
drive drive doze off..think shd be half-asleep and miss the exit -
wah, so dangerous... next time get off the car....

dad told me the same thing. but how the hell i get off in the middle of the expressway. stupid cab. but the time i realized he's sleeping already too late to drop liao. den exit expressway so near my home liao. just let him drive all the way there lo. i would rather he wind down the window and smoke a cigarette. at elast that would have kept him awake.Originally posted by sgboy2004:wah, so dangerous... next time get off the car.... -
U haven't experience a Hell ride yet ... a very elderly ahpek fetch me once ... he thinks that he is a F1 driver sia ... knn ave 140 at highway ... then corner damn fast screetch tyre and jams brake ... that was a ride that i will never forget man ..... 12th June 2004 23:40hrs

Mayb u should talk talk to him... Keep him awake...
Punish him, mak up the scariest ghost stories coz he still got to continue his nite shift... Heehee... Sure keep him awake de...

I always pray that the cab couldn't crash man. Even though i always take a cab home from MRT and distance not that far, the cab driver always speed like hell one. It's like sitting on a cloub like that.

I seriously urge all you guys who encountered situation like this to lodge report to the taxi companies and LTA.
You never know how many lives you would save by doing this.
Granted the drivers are only humans and sometimes feel sleepy, they should not endanger others. -
yeah.. it seems kinda scary to be sitting in a cab who is driven by a 1/2 sleeping cabby

my friend go up north and hire a taxi to fetch him from JB to KL ... then he say after air keroh ... the taxi fella was having trouble waking up instead of trouble driving!!!!

i had a similar experience. Sleepy head uncle almost buang to a lorry while im inside..emergency break...then before that he slept a while at a traffic light causing the car behind to horn like mad. he almost buang then suddenly he emergency break again this time almost hitting a car...of course...he recieved a good verbal F*cking from me...i took down his no plate and name, time and place and sent it to citycab...i got my $17 back from citycab. hahaha in cheque. a happy free ride...plus a very long apology letter. hahahahah
