Car accident

kanna sai. at carpark exit 2nd in queue behind lorry. the joker in front reversed suddenly without checking, dent my bumper and headlight. (*#$*& spent morning running around to workshop and collect payment from the guy. no car for rest of day. sian. (#$*(#$

appreciate the thought. the guy was a malaysian worker and honest enough to admit fault and no attitude. so i just repair at cheap workshop instead of changing new parts or going to insurance. but still a bit sore cos long time no accident or even parking ticket, and car is barely 1 yr some more. bo pian lor. unlucky what to do?

Hats off to you for your kind gesture to a less fortunate person. Considering your car is so new and u could accept low cost repairs to your pride & joy....I salute you. Not many ppl, especially if the car is new will accept anything less than STARAUTO level kind of service....and that will really hurt the fella's pocket. -

got another time also scrapping old car, less than a month, got taxi ran into mine, very bad attitude. so i make full insurance claim against him at starauto.

This happened when I was still having my old Sunny.
Was in the car on the top of the MSCP when a car reversed directly into me.
By the time I horned, BANG!
Luckily she was reversing, otherwise my front would have been smashed.
Best of all, her mother smile smile said, buy 4D sure strike. If not for my wife, I would have made mince meat out of her.

Dont know why, but I feel that Malaysians seems to be more honest than Singaporeans.
Given the same scenario, a Singaporean would most likely claim against you even though he reversed into you cos he's in the advantage.
Just feel like Singaporeans have been degrading over the years. Will take advantage of things at the slightest chance. -
hate to admit it, but you're probably right. but you can make a difference... i do not take advantage of the situation unless the other party pisses me off big time. cab drivers especially seem to be able to do that to me effortlessly
and a kind lady passed me an unexpired coupon just now in the afternoon, almost a full hour left on it. was a pleasant surprise when she came over to pass me the coupon before giving the lot up to me. like i said, what goes round comes round... i have been giving away unexpired coupons whenever possible for a little while now, and for the first time in a decade, someone returned the favour. it took some time, but it happened didn't it -
Never intended to....one of the time, my bumper was crashed when my car was parked at my season parking lot so you can imagine the shock and disbelief (i mean it was a damn bloody row of season parking lots and the fact that the car was parked made it worse). conclusion: lady driver (maybe) more honest. but of course there are the others.. -
