Measure in Nm=Newton Metre....=Twisting power/force...Tink i ever heard from friend, Diesel engin hv more torque den patrol engin, tats y their REV zone is low, mayb bout 5k to 6k????
Wat is it ah..er.hard to explain lea....
i put in tis way ba...
1.is how fast to reach a certain speed....
2.Eg;2 same car,same weight,same BHP,every same
but 1 got higher Nm, start from 0km/h,the car wid higher Nm wil reach the "certain speed" faster.
3.The force tat pull u to stick to the seat feeling when a car accerate...
Eg:Rex got bout 300Nm of torque,so when te driver floor acc, u feel u being push to the seat..That's TORQUE/twisting power to the drive shalf den to the wheels..but cun imagine if Vtec also got 300Nm of torque..wats te feeling lik..den when the vtec open...knn...hahahah..mayb some forumers here can project den invite me sit sit..nvm, i pay petrol....
