Urgent: Need advise

Hi all
Someone kissed my back of my car and caused a slight dent. I confronted him and ask to exchange ctts as a lot of vehicles are jammed up behind. He refused though he ack that he banged it. What can i do? I cannot reprt police as no injury. pls help. i have been persistent in getting him responsible but he refused -
u remember his car number, faster report police, say he hit & run...knn, i hate tis type of ppl,u can either cal tis number, Traffic police:65470000 to ask or 1800-5471818,both can seek help...faster call, singapore law is abit kuku wid who bang behind mean he tailgate...but in ur case, he bang you, he sure die...lolx...

Report to your own insurance company. Do provide them with as much details as possible, that asshole's car REG number, venue, time and car details. If u have....his IC number as well. In any case your insurance company may request u to send your car to IDAC for evaluation.....and should initiate claims against that idiot's policy once the documentation and repair work is done. -

under no circumstances are you, or the other guy, legally obliged to divulge any personal particulars. none whatsoever. all you can do is to try to negotiate a private settlement. failing which, in this case, you take down his vehicle number and make a report at a workshop designated by your insurance company. taking a picture of both vehicles at the accident scene would also help your claims. -
u can make a call to the police to tell them the situation and then seek their advice.... they will dispatch a police vehicle if they deem fits...Originally posted by choppers:Hi all

no matter how, he has to give u his contacts cos he bangs u...without contact, he can claim ignorance later on.
mi friend encountered once...tat idiot refuses to give his contact and drove off, mi friend chased him all the way and eventually called the police. -

The police will not get involved unless there's personal injuries caused by the accident, so there's no point in calling them. Only thing you can do is report to your insurers. Grab a witness or 2 if you're able to too.

just take it easy and let us know how it ends. i kana accident also last week, sway lor... wat to do. -
Sigh.. so ma fan.. police won;t get becos no damage to govt pty and no injury.. insurance said... why i dun take down more details..such car model etc etc... at that point.. not in right frame of mind .. still can think so reasonably......... sd can try to claim from that 3rd party but no gurantee so if cannot get, will claim from own policy and will affect NCD.. wa zan... liek that also ma fan....
